How to Host Streams for Internet Radio

How to Get BBC Radio Online

The radio station produced by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) is one of the most popular and well-respected stations worldwide. Because of this, many people enjoy listening to it even if the radio station itself is not offered in their area. If this is your situation, the best way to listen to BBC Radio is online through a computer.

The advent and advancement of Internet technology has afforded many people a host of conveniences through the most recent decades of our history. Many items and experiences that may have been out of reach previously are now just a click of the mouse away. There is no greater example than the ease and availability that we can now listen to music of all kinds and watch videos of all genres through online streaming. This is also true for BBC Radio. Whereas before, you could only listen to BBC Radio if the station was broadcast specifically in your area (relatively quite limiting), now anybody with a computer and an Internet connection can listen to the popular radio station. The process is simple and easy.

Items Needed:

  • Computer

  • High speed Internet connection

  • External computer speakers
