How to Get Rid of Under Eye Puffiness
Swelling or puffiness of the upper and lower eyelids can be caused by several things, such as your body getting dehydrated, not enough sleep or eating salty foods before going to bed at night. Fortunately, it is fairly simple to get rid of under eye puffiness.
How to Get Rid of Under Eye Puffiness
Apply an ice pack or a towel filled with ice to your eyes for a few minutes when you get up in the morning.
Soak black or chamomile tea bags in cold water and put them on your eyelids for 15 minutes. The tea restricts the blood vessels and reduces inflammation.
Place two teaspoons in the refrigerator before going to bed at night. When you get up the next morning, place the cold spoons on your eyelids for approximately 1 minute.
Apply an over-the-counter hemorrhoid cream to the puffy area of the eyelid, being careful not to get it in your eyes. Doing this will reduce inflammation.
