How to Learn Thai Massage
Thai massage uses stretches for your entire body. You can learn Thai massage in many different ways. Once you learn this form of massage, you can become a massage therapist. Additionally, you can add this to your resume and boost your business.
- Attend a massage school in your area that teaches Thai massage. Make sure the teacher understands Thai massage and has been teaching it for a while. Attend a class to just watch how they teach to make sure it is something that would be beneficial to you.
- Find a school that offers Thai massage only. This may be a better choice for you since the teachers there will be very experienced in this form of massage, and will be able to teach you everything you need to know. Once you complete your training at any school, you will be able to become certified in Thai massage. This type of training can be expensive, however.
- Learn Thai massage in Thailand, if you are able to. Many people travel to Thailand to learn this form of massage. Thailand has many schools that you can attend. The price for these schools is also much lower than they are in the United States. You do have to consider the price of travel to Thailand so the price may be about equal.
- Take some private Thai massage training lessons from someone that is experienced in it. This is probably the fastest and best way for you to learn Thai massage but is very expensive unless you are in Thailand.
- Learn Thai massage at home. You can order DVD training courses, but you should also be able to speak with an instructor if you have questions and need more help. You should also be able to be in contact with other students while learning at home. This may be the cheapest way for you to learn Thai massage. Make sure the training course is a reputable one before you purchase it.
