How to Maintain Swimming Pools
Many people may wish at one time or another that they had a swimming pool at their home, but what they fail to realize is it takes a lot of maintenance to keep it looking fresh and clean. A poorly maintained pool is not something that you want visitors to see.
How to Maintain Swimming Pools
A stabilized chlorine product should be used to sanitize the pool on a regular basis. These can purchased in a tablet or stick form and should be placed near the pump and filter system.
To keep algae from growing in the pool use an algae preventive or inhibitor. These products come in a liquid form and are poured in the water near the skimmer intake and then the pump distributes it to the other areas of the pool.
The pool should be shocked approximately every two weeks to rid the water of waste.
Search for a pool professional that has a water test facility and see if they offer a computer analysis of water samples.
