How to Make Dinosaur Birthday Party Invitations
Build excitement for your child's birthday party by mailing out dinosaur themed birthday party invitations. To make customized invitations for your little dinosaur fan, create a template and add details about the party. Make the invitation unique by adding colorful embellishments with markers or paint.
Things You'll Need:
- Card stock or colored construction paper
- Markers, colored pencils or paint
- Dinosaur template
- Scissors
- Create a template. Look for a picture of your child's favorite dinosaur, such as a T-Rex or Brontosaurus, on the Internet. Print and cut the picture out.
- Choose a piece of card stock or colored construction paper for the invitations. For a realistic look, try using brown-colored paper. A girl may prefer purple or pink colored invitations. For a boy, consider using blue or green paper.
- Place the template on top of the card stock, trace and then cut out the design.
- Add details to the dinosaur, such as a face, legs or feet. Make the invitation unique by adding spots, stripes or horns to the dinosaur. Create the details by using markers, colored pencils or paint.
- Write an announcement on the invitation. Use a fun saying, such as "You're invited to a dino-mite birthday party" or "Join us for some prehistoric fun at Joey's birthday party."
- Create a section for the details of the birthday party. Add RSVP information, as well as the child's name, where the party will be held, and what time the party starts.
- Repeat these steps for as many invitations as you need to mail.
