How to Make Homemade Foaming Hand Soap
Foaming hand soap is a very popular product today. When it is used, it creates a foamy lather and feels great on your skin. Also, less water is needed to wash your hands with the foaming hand soap. You can make this foamy hand soap at home and save money on refills.
Items Needed:
- Empty used or new foaming hand soap dispenser
- Liquid dish soap
- Body wash
- Shampoo
- Water
- Hand lotion or glycerin (optional)
- Fill the empty foaming hand soap dispenser about three-quarters full with tap water. Use an empty used foaming soap dispenser or buy a new foaming hand soap dispenser from a discount store or dollar store.
- Fill the remaining portion of the soap dispenser bottle with dish soap or your favorite body wash. Shampoo can even be used as your hand soap. Leave enough room in the soap dispenser bottle to be able to put the pump top into the bottle. You don't want the soap mixture that is in the bottle to spill out of the bottle when the pump top is screwed into the bottle.
- Screw the pump top onto the foaming hand soap dispenser bottle. Gently shake the soap mixture or you can stir the soap mixture with a chopstick.
- Use the foaming hand soap as usual in various parts in your home. If you would like to, add a squirt of hand lotion or glycerin for a creamy, moisturizing foaming hand soap. If you would like a scented foaming soap, use scented liquid dish soap or a scented body wash.
