How to Make Use of Makeup Kit Throwaways

Anybody that loves and collects makeup have items  in the cosmetic bag that they don’t know how to use.  So before you get rid of this makeup, take some time to learn how.  There may be some things in there worth using.

Things you will need to make use of makeup kit throwaways:

  • Slightly too-light or too-dark foundation

  • Spooly brush

  • Color wheel for use with colored concealers

  • White makeup pencil

  • Vanilla or light-colored eye shadow

  • Concealer and bronzer

  1. Take some vanilla eye shadow and sweep the top lids after the foundation.  This makes a great base for eye makeup to look clearer on the skin.  If you prefer using highlighting technique on area of the face, vanilla eye shadow will also work as a great substitute for the regular product.

  2. Apply a drop of concealer with the summer foundation of choice when winter comes.  Don’t waste a bottle of foundation when you get paler.  Just make minor changes to the current shade.  Use a little concealer at a time and swab the new base on the jaw for accuracy.  If you get a tan in summertime, mix a drop of bronzer with the winter foundation.

  3. Use a spooly brush to trim and groom your eyebrows.  The brush is ideal for stroking wayward brows in place and can also make them soft.  If there are hairs that extend past your natural brow line they must be trimmed.

  4. Take out the color wheel in order to understand what the color concealers are for.  You will most likely have crème concealers in lavender, mint green, rose, and yellow.

  5. Figure out how to use a white makeup pencil.
