How to Make a Wedding Reception Planner
Finding a wedding reception planner and organizer can be as easy as going to your local home office supply store. The planner can be decorated any way you would like and is a must-have if you are planning a wedding. The ability to keep track of every detail will keep you organized and on budget.
Things you’ll need:
- 3-ring binder
- Blank paper
- Pen
- Index dividers
- Business card holder page
- Calendar pages
- Open the binder so that it is laying flat in front of you. Lay everything that you would like to put into the binder out in front of you as well. This will ensure that nothing is forgotten when you start to assemble the binder.
- Start to build the binder from the back to the front. Add in blank sheets of paper first and then an index tab. Continue alternating until you have the necessary amount of index tabs.
- Place the business card holder on top of the final tab. The business card holder is a great way to keep all of your vendor details in one location since business cards provide all the essential information.
- Place a calendar in the front of the binder. This will be the first thing you see when you open the binder. You can buy calendar pages at your local office supply store or you can simply print them from your computer. Microsoft Outlook offers many calendar options that you can actually type in details first then print out later.
- Label each tab according to your wedding. There is no right or wrong way because everyone’s wedding is different. Examples may be things such as location, food and entertainment.
- Customize the outside of your wedding reception planner any way that you would like. This is yours so you can do what you please.
- Write down and keep every little detail in this planner. Having everything in one central spot will eliminate at least one headache in the whole wedding process.
