How to Print Company Logos

Most companies have a logo. Logos are a very important part of advertising a business. Most people recognize a company or product by its logo. You will find logos on many items such as boxes of food, t-shirts, appliances and many other items. It is important to use logos that look well and large enough to see.

• Create a logo that uses color. You can create a logo design that uses more than one color.  Most often these logos are better recognized and generally looks better. Although there are many companies that use black and white logos and still get much recognition.

• Use a high resolution when possible. If high resolution is not used the graphic may come out blurry and incorrect. High resolution is usually used for large-size pictures. Smaller logos should have no problem with lower resolutions.

• Decide on a location for the logo. What items and exactly where on the items will the logo be used? Once you figure out where the logo will go, you can decide on how to print it. For logos that contain a significant amount of information you will need to have it printed in larger areas, if not you may end up with ink blobs.

• Determine what type of printing will be used. When you take your items to a printer they will want to know this information. They will also work with you to determine which will be the best. There are a couple of ways you can have a logo printed such as screen or laser, you may want to see a couple of samples before choosing the one that will work for your logo.
