How to Register Online for a Large Print Book Club
Gone are the days where you have to actually physically go in to a bookstore to purchase books. Well actually, you can still do that but now people can shop online for books and have them sent directly to their doorstep. You can locate every type of book that you would find at a bookstore and these clubs can be joined online.
- For those who have a hard time reading or just prefer large print books, you can register for a large print book club right online that has the same selections as your local bookstore.
- Compare the various online book clubs to see which one best suits your needs. There is one book club that caters specifically to large print books and that is the Doubleday Large Print Book Club. Many other book clubs will also have a section just for large print books.
- If you choose the Doubleday Large Print Book Club, you can go on their website, click on the button that says “find out more” and then it takes just three easy steps to join the club.
- Read what the book club has to offer. If you like what you read, click on where it says, “choose your books” and then click “browse.” From there you can look at all the books that are offered. If you find a book that you like, click on that book and a new page will open that will have a review of the book as well as the price. If you want to purchase the book, click where it says “add to cart” and that book will be added to your shopping cart.
- As part of your initial enrollment, you can choose five books. After your five books are chosen, click on where it says, “finish enrollment.” You will then be offered a sixth book that you can purchase at a low price although this is not something you have to do. If you choose the additional book, click where it says “special offer” and then the book will be added to your shopping cart.
- Enter your billing address and then choose whether or you want to receive e-mails or postal mail regarding book club information. Then enter your payment and shipping information. For your payment information, put in the credit card that you want billed.
- And that is all it takes to register for an online book club that offers large print books. You now also have access to all the clubs services on their website.
