How to Remove Chest Hair
Some men prefer to have a chest free of hair because they like the smooth look and they do not have to deal with the problem of hair getting caught up in their clothing. There are several ways the hair can be safely removed from the chest, but some of the methods will require a lot more maintenance than others.
How to Remove Chest Hair
- Shaving: This is one of the easiest and quickest methods to remove chest hair. The only problem with shaving is it can leave stubble behind and you will have to shave on a regular basis to keep it looking smooth.
- Hair Removal Cream: This is a painless method that does not require the use of a razor. It involves spreading the cream over the chest, which breaks down the hair, and using a wet towel to remove the hair. This method should be avoided if you have sensitive skin because it can cause irritation or chemical burns if left on too long.
- Waxing: This method requires a high tolerance of pain. You can be hair-free from six to eight weeks, but there is a possibility of ingrown hairs or burns.
- Laser Hair Removal: This method offers the possibility of never having to see the hair again, although it is not 100% guaranteed that the hair will not grow back. This hair removal method is expensive, mainly because muliple sessions are necessary. There are risks involved such as burning, scarring, pain and blisters.
- Electrolysis: This method is approved by the FDA and permanently removes hair. It can be painful and requires several sessions to complete the process.
