How to Use Krav Maga Fight Techniques

How to Teach Krav Maga

Krav Maga is the Israeli military’s preferred fighting style. The form itself is not a discipline in any way. Krav Maga is as bad as street fighting and only uses moves to incapacitate and overcome a foe. Krav Maga is known for disarming enemies with weapons and quickly using it against them. To teach Krav Maga you need to be trained for years and prove mastery in the fighting style.

Things you will need:

  • Krav Maga black belt

  • Expert badge

  1. Train daily in Krav Maga until your movements are without thought.

  2. Become a senior member of a Krav Maga fighting school. Masters from Israel came to the United States in the 1980’s to teach Krav Maga and should be sought after to learn the unmolested form of Krav Maga.

  3. Achieve a black belt or some variation of it.

  4. Surpass all five levels of the practioners grade and exhibit proficiency of each level.

  5. Pass the instructors training course and hold a graduate badge.

  6. Teach the military and police forces with an expert badge.

  7. Live to teach Krav Maga your whole life and finally reach the title of Master.

Krav Maga teaches people how to get out of life or death situations in one preemptive strike or counterattack. As an instructor, when you teach your students a new skill it could very well save a person’s life in a dangerous situation. The people that understand that this fighting style saves lives daily are the ones who teach it. This is not a competition fighting discipline because the moves are based on what works and not style - this will be one of the most difficult lessons to impart on your students.
