Ideas for Home Catalog Parties

Having a home catalog party can be a good way to gather with friends, meet new friends and neighbors, and make a little money. Consider having a catalog party in the evening after work to make it convenient for guests to attend.

Dinner Party

Have a catalog party at home in the theme of a dinner party. Arrange for dinner to be served at a certain time in the evening, and have drinks ready beforehand so guests can mingle and relax. Offer coffee and dessert after dinner or after the catalog presentation and discussion.

Cocktail Party

A cocktail party can be a fun way to gather with others in a casual, social setting. Offer a signature cocktail that complements the theme of the catalog, such as a jewel toned drink for a jewelry party, and serve appetizers or other small snacks as well.

Theme Party

Hold a theme party for a catalog home party, using the catalog's focus as the theme. Is the catalog dedicated to jewelry? Decorate in jewel tones. Kitchen tools and equipment? Decorate in a kitchen theme and have guests each bring an apron or have aprons on hand.

Potluck Party

A potluck party allows each guest to bring their signature dish or a family favorite to share with others. What's more, it takes the pressure off the host to serve a full meal. Ask each guest to bring a dish to pass to the catalog party, and provide appetizers or dessert as the host.
