The Best Dish Sets

While the word ‘best’ is a take on personal opinion, most people will agree that there are different types of dish sets for different occasions. The best dish sets are determined by what they are used for and how they look to guests.

Porcelain Dish Sets

The look of porcelain has been popular for dishware for many decades. They are very versatile and can be used for important events as well as everyday dishware. This is due to their durability without getting any cracks or water spots if they are used gently. Porcelain dish sets come in many patterns and colors that can suit any style of kitchen. The most common types either have light floral patterns or soft pastels.

Stoneware Dishes

Stoneware is made out of mass produced man made stone. It's considered the most durable of all dishware and is completely safe to use in a microwave. They are also long lasting enough to hold up many dishwasher washings and can be stored inside of a freezer for a week’s period of time. Despite its name, it doesn’t look anything like stone and comes in soft glazed colors or patterns to fit into your kitchen.

Elegant Dish Sets

High-end dish sets are very expensive and should only be used for fine dining. In history, there have been many dinnerware sets that had gold accent trimmings on the plats and handles of spoons and forks. Gold plated can still be purchased today, but they must be treated with the utmost care. Rare sets are made out of ivory and fine delicate porcelain not suited for every day.
