Setting Up Wireless Internet for Launderette Customers

Tips For Advertising a Launderette

When you own a launderette, advertising is essential to attract new customers. Even if you already have a good-sized client base, it’s essential to keep advertising, because customers come and go. It’s also important to always treat customers courteously and respectfully, as word-of-mouth after a positive experience is one the best kinds of advertising.

Cards and Flyers

Create business cards and brochures to hand out to acquaintances friends and family. You can also visit other local small businesses and see if they can display your cards near the register. In exchange you can offer to display their business cards. Additionally, most people need laundromat services so you can hand out cards to everyone you encounter in your daily life such as clerks, servers and stylists.

Ad Space

Purchase advertising space in local magazines, newspapers, school papers, radio stations or any other places that sell ads. If you are willing to take unused space, rather than select when or where your ad will be featured, you can usually receive a substantial discount.

Delivery Services

Provide delivery services in a vehicle prominently displaying your company logo and phone number. People who see your vehicle may be interested in your services. If you don’t provide delivery, you can still put your company logo on your personal vehicle or pay individuals to put your logo on their vehicles as they drive around town.

Email Blasts

Obtain customers' email addresses and send them email blasts with coupons to keep them coming back. You can also include coupons that provide deep discounts to first time customers that they can forward to their friends and family. Additionally, if your emails are entertaining or funny, you can often attract other customers because people who are entertained will likely forward your email to friends.

Website

Build a website for your business that lists your services and location. The website should be simple to navigate and feature images of your work such as before and after pictures to attract potential customers.  You can usually purchase a basic website and hosting for a low price. If you aren’t tech-savvy and have a tight budget, consider bartering your services to a student studying web design.
