Types of 4-Wheeler Tricks

Four wheelers are fun and exciting recreational vehicles. They are widely used to reach areas that four by four trucks cannot reach. While the vehicles are used for riding, they can also be used to do tricks on. There are many tricks that can be performed on them.

Single Jumps

This the most basic and easiest type of trick that can be done on a four-wheeler. This trick should be mastered before any of the other tricks are attempted. A ramp that slightly slopes should be used for single jumps. The best way to accomplish the single jump is by bending over the handlebars. The knees should be at a 45-degree angle while the elbows are pointed straight out. Press the gas at steadily as you make your way up the ramp. You should keep the front of the vehicle in the air and land on the rear wheels.

Double Jumps

Double jumps are similar to single jumps except that another ramp is used to land on. You will jump the first ramp in the same way the ramp was jumped in the single jump. This time you will have a second ramp but you will land with the front end instead of the back end when you land on the second ramp. Push on the handlebars as you land to make sure the nose end hits first. As soon as the front end hits the second ramp, press on the gas. Then go into the second jump with the back end.

Wheelies

Wheelies are done with the front end of the four-wheeler off of the ground. The front end of the vehicle will remain on the ground during a wheelie. You pull in the clutch and shift into the first gear. The throttle is revved halfway while you position your weight backwards and pop the clutch. This will raise the front end of the vehicle upwards.
