What is Gas Oil?
Gas oil as a petroleum product formed through the distillation processes of the gas oil refinery system. This byproduct is created during a specific chemical reaction phase and is often removed to be used in home heating products. The distillate has a specific viscosity for certain products in the category of gas oil.
Crude Oil
Understand crude oil is the actual oil buried beneath the shale areas of the earth. As these compounds are removed and the crude oil brought to the eEarths' surface, several pother petroleum products also exist including pre gas liquids.
The Distillation Processes
Consider refineries that processes crude oil by heating this oil, then capturing the vapors then distilling these vapors into various gas, and oil gas products. Here in the distillation processes the gas oil vapors are created then cooled into a liquid form for consumer use. Gas oil contains a certain specific viscosity that is developed for household use. Home heaters burn well at this specific viscosity and useful and an economical form of heating oil, since it is not as dense as pure gasoline, or crude oil.
A.G.O.
Understand atmospheric gas oil is a specific compound that is derived for the specific industry usage, and is refined from the crude oil source. This is just one of many distillates that are used as gasoline in cars, to hybrids, to heater's and other oil needs. AGO is 15 percent of the crude oil distillate, removed around the same time as kerosene and distilled using a hydrofracking processes.
