Aunt Bug's Cabin Rentals

We had an awesome vacation!! Aunt Bugs is a wonderful family owned company. They make check-in painless. I've stayed with them several times and they give us a really good repeat guest discount and many discount coupons to local attraction. We went zip lining and horseback riding for free

2 days after we checked out we noticed an " UN AUTHORIZED CHARGE OF $200" on our credit card from Aunt Bugs. When we inquired about this charge we were told that the "Cabin Inspector" smelled smoke in the cabin..... Considering my fiance and I do not smoke, had no compa...ny and were the only ones in the cabin for those two days we insisted that this was an oversight on there part and we would like our money back. After several conversations and being shuffled around to 3 different people over 2 days we were told that the charge would stay. The cabin itself was everything we wanted....but the outside lawn was horrible and had trash all over. When we first had arrived the tv and internet didn't work but Kevin fixed those issues. The internet was in and out the whole stay. Kevin also replaced all light bul...bs that were out. He was pleasant to work with and very helpful. The grill wasn't even useable and ashes were spread all over ground and the bucket was over filled with ashes that had been there for some time. It was too bad that with the beautiful wrap around deck you had to see trash on the ground and way over grown trees and bushes. The landscaping was horrible and needs maintenance. Hated cabin location and rude staff. . We checked the Better Business Bureau after booking with them and unfortunately we should have rented from another cabin rental instead of Aunt Bug's Cabins. I will never rent from Aunt Bug's again and will tell everyone I know a...bout my bad experience. BBB rated them with a F which is the worst rating ever and it has so many complaints on the internet that could have been avoided if only I would have looked at the BBB first. Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service when trying to change a reservation. They were HORRIBLE to deal with. Simply DOUBLE DIPPING From the insurance company. We will never use them!
