"Praise the Lard"
Recently, well yesterday, I returned to the Beacon Light Tea Room after several years...Lord, why was I gone so long. It all came rushing back...those wonderful light biscuits awash with butter and fresh, homemade preserves, pan fried chicken, green beans, fried okra, h...ashbrown casserole all made like the grandmother you never had, never made. There is no way to describe the wonder of this well made food, but trust me, it is worth the drive from anywhere.
