My AH HA from tonight's networking meeting

I am the VP of the DSWA Local Area Chapter in Akron Canton Ohio. I had a speaker tonight, Deborah Chaddock Brown,writer, speaker and author of 2 books. She shared a lot of useful information about "Gaining Customer Loyalty". When we go to stores and resturants, are we really taken care of? Can you think of a great service you got from a business? Can you think of a very bad experience? What was it that made you remember the great experience? Was it that the person remembered your name or what kind of beverage you like? Did they know what your needs were.
Sometimes we need to just be more observant of the people around us and see what it is that we can do to help make their lives easier. What do we have that they need. I know I will always look at customers differently I will remember to pay attention to things they do and say. I will then build a REAL relationship with them. We all want that as customers. We want to like and trust the person selling to us. Taking care of customers will lead to more customers. It is like the old shampoo commercial, "she told two friends and so on and so on".Another AH Ha - Blog more often. So I am. Thanks for reading :-)
