The Take-Home Process

• First, the dentist makes a mold of your teeth and uses that mold to create customized plastic mouth trays.
• Based on your individual health history and the results you wish to see, the dentist creates a custom plan for your teeth whitening.
• You go home and, following the dentist’s plan, apply the bleaching solution to the customized mouth trays, wearing them as often and for as long as your dentist recommends.
• You’re done! Enjoy your newly whitened teeth.

Power bleaching is obviously the faster process, making it ideal for people who don’t have time to wait for results. But on the other hand, power bleaching can be significantly more expensive. Patients on a budget may be more comfortable with the take-home method.
