Our Tips for Safe Driving

Plan ahead.  If you're expecting a phone call from someone, plan a designated stop area or place that you can go. When you are parked, you can feel at ease about dialing or receiving phone calls or texts.  

Never answer text messages. Even a quick glance down at your phone can cause a disastrous accident. As soon as you look down at your phone and start texting, your attention is diverted away from the road, making it more likely that you will become involved in an accident.

Put your phone out of reach. It will be less likely that you will pick up your phone if it is out of reach. You can put it in your bag, briefcase, or somewhere that is out of sight.
