wheels for classics with late model suspension
When building a resto mod or classic car with updated suspension, you should always verify wheel fitment before choosing your suspension. Many times wheels are an after-thought and because today's suspension products fit differently than those of the 50s, 60s, and 70s, you may not be able to use the wheels you like with the suspension you choose. Recently, At R3 Performance Products, we were tasked with fitting FOOSE Legend wheels on a 1957 Chevy with late model Corvette suspension. After consulting various other shops, our customer was lucky enough find us before giving up on the look he wanted. After slightly modifying the fitment, using industry specific machinery, we were able to fit 18x8.5 in the front and 18x9.5 in the rear.
