Honest to their customers, offers meticulous workmanship
They may be a little pricey, but expect trustworthiness and hard work from these guys. There are not any "throw a part on and see what happens" type of mechanics here. Expect meticulous workmanship, as they are accurate and precise with all their "sure-fire" repairs. ...Its going on 9 years since I've known these group of guys, and I know these guys know their stuff. If you want to be cheap, go to Jiffy Lube or Wal-Mart or any run-down garage on the side of the road. And be weary, because in this profession, you get what you pay for. If you want expertise, honesty, above and beyond service; If you want your vehicle FIXED, then get to know them boys from Capitol Tire & Auto Service.
HEAD ACHE
Was recommended to come here by a friend who swears by them. Now I feel like swearing at my friend. They quoted me $168 for rear brakes and after I scheduled a appointment with them in the morning on my day off and drive 13 miles to have them do the job. They come back ...and tell me after looking at my car that they need to replace my front and back breaks and replace the rotors and that will be $600 please. I was like WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All I want is the rear brake pads nothing more. He tells me well I don't feel comfortable doing that so it's all or nothing. But here is the other catch it really wasn't nothing he said that will be 35 dollars then for the brake inspection. At this point I was so mad because I didn't ask for a freakin inspection I ask for a job to be completed nothing more. Now I had to drive home with back brake pads that are almost not there.
