Have you checked out this Smyrna Business?
Recently we spoke with Warren from Sheridan's Irish Pub. They are located on 42 West Commerce Street in downtown Smyrna, Delaware. They offer a variety of traditional Irish and American cuisine, along with a large selection of Irish and domestic beverages. Their facilities include a 22 foot bar, indoor seating and dining facilities for 114 people and an outdoor deck that seats 52, complete with it's own bar. Whether it is lunch, dinner, a company meeting, birthday party, graduation, wedding rehearsal dinner or a casual night out with friends, they can accommodate your needs - including reserving the deck for private functions. They use the Digital Dining software on their computers for ringing people up and keeping track of tabs. They upgrade their business computer systems about once a year Warren said. Their biggest technology challenge is simply understanding it.Indoors bar/restaurantOutdoor deckThe biggest change they are making in the business is renovation. All around the outside of the building is being renovated to freshen the look of everything. Hopefully with the new appearance, more people will be interested in strolling in to have a few drinks. Their warm setting makes you truely feel like you are in a Irish pub overseas. Don't forget to stop in on Wednesday nights after 5 - all you can eat wings are served for only $9.99 and are the best in the county. They welcome the business, so stop by and check out a place that cares about the customer! Here is their facebook pageAnd here is their website for details about the menu, hours, directions, etc.
Smyrna Business Park - Carlisle's Marine
Smyrna Business Recognition #1 - Carlisle's Marine Today we composed an interview with local business-man Rick from Carlisle's Marine of Smyrna, Delaware. We asked him a few questions about his business and how they integrate computers into the mix. Carlisle's Marine is a one-stop resource for fishermen and boaters alike. They sell brand new boats and boat accessories, they sell fishing and crabbing supplies, and they construct boat repairs. In a fast-paced environment, Rick relies heavily on his network of computers to never let them down. They use Total Control Software for their inventory database and point of sale. Total Control Software is used heavily in Marine and RV businesses nationwide. Rick has never landed on set time in which to upgrade their computer technology; he simply upgrades when something stops working. For him, this doesn't happen too often so he stays in the clear. The biggest challenge he comes across with the technology in his business is when the computers run slowly upon opening programs. Any business can agree that he is not alone in his frustrations. Regardless of occasional PC slowness, Carlisle's Marine does not let it affect their customer relations. They continue to please customers by providing exceptional care.. Very recently Carlisle's Marine began selling crabbing supplies due to the high demand of crabbers in the state of Delaware. If they don't have what a customer needs in stock, they will assist in determining what product is best for that particular customer and order it from online boating store- boatingstore.com.Don't forget to keep up with our blog as we continue to provide useful tips, tricks, and local business recognition all courtesy of Bob Johnson's Computer Stuff!
