Reviews
should of read the reviews first. What a nightmare.
Called hillen to fix our tv. They came and picked it up (very difficult to understand) Said they could fix it in a couple of days. Three weeks later after several t/c's where they were extremely rude, with excuse after excuse, they delivered our tv without the stand ...which was attached when they picked it up. They said they would go back to the store and retrieve it. When I called a couple of hours later they told me to look around my house and when I told them it wasn't here, he doubted me and told me he would look again. Another hour later they had not called. When I called, they still hadn't found it. They said it would take a couple of days. Now we have a tv which cannot stand upright (don't even know if they fixed it) and their cart that they carried it into the house on. I told them that if they didn't find the stand we would keep the tv, their cart and they would not get paid anymore than the $185 we already paid them. He hung up on me. DO NOT, repeat DO NOT use this company. Today they brought back our tv. They had found the stand, surprise, surprise. When they went to attach the stand, they didn't have the right bolts to attach it. The owner had to go to the local Lowes and get them. He left his assistant at our house and he proceeded to fall asleep, snoring. The owner came back about one hour later. They were tryng to re-hook up the tv and kept asking my husband how to connect the cables. After about one hour the tv was working but the dvr didn't work. After about another hour they finally got it to work. When they were asked what the problem was , he reponded, "I don't know". I told the owner that we didn't trust him and that we would wait 7 days to see if the tv continued to run properly. If that was the case I would send a check. He becme very angry and said he was going to take the tv. He didn't. At the end of 7 days, I will pay him, but again I will NEVER use their services again and I recommend that nobody use them for any repairs.
Seriously...the worst ever
Story goes like this.\t\n\t\nPurchase a new Sony LCD from Pacific Sales, and once its installed on the wall that it has what looks to be a little bit of dust and moisture on the inside of the screen. I call Sony and explain and they refer me to my local authorized serv...ice repair center, Hillen's Coast Tv. \t\n\t\n2 of the most unprofessional guys that can barely speak english show up to look at the tv. They tell me that they can fix it by replacing the main panel. Great. they order the panel and 30 days later they are back at my office to install the new panel. They take my tv apart into a million pieces literally on the floor of my office. They put it all back together and it turns on. But guess what. They put a huge 10 inch scratch on the inside panel. Awesome! But wait the best part is that they look at me and say that they didnt do it. That's the part that upsets me the most is that they wouldn't take responsibility for their mistake.\t\n\t\nThe Worst!\t\n\t\n
Should've listen to the reviews!
My boss has a brand new LCD TV that was purchased at Costco and just never worked right. I called Samsung and they gave me the info for the local authorized Samsung repair shop. The tv was picked up by these two guys last week. It's been a week, so i called and left ...them a message earlier today to find out abt. the status of the repair. The main contact guy (Korean guy w/ very think accent) just called back, so i asked him what was the problem...he said "you know the problem already". (the tv was turning off by itself) I said, well, was it because of parts? Did something burn out? Guy -"we know what problem is, we ordered part, and fix it". So i said...I want and need to know. I need to report it to my boss! The guy says..."when u get invoice, you will know."\t\n "I will not explain to you" and hung up on me. \t\nNow, if you are craving for some rudeness, please call these people, you will for sure enjoy it. Will never use their service again. No need for people to be this rude.
Terrible - Avoid!
Had a very poor experience at this place. They are not responsive and have terrible customer service. It took a month to get any sort of response for my broken TV.
What do you want to know?
$200 for labor, $135 plus tax for a SMPS PCBA (switching power supply). Their policy, "If they don't ask, I won't tell". Diagnosing a power supply problem at the very most takes a 1/2 hour and it is the very 1st thing you check! For bad ethical experiences I had repair... done to get my flatscreen out of there. I didn't bother asking for old power supply board. When I finally got TV home and was hooking it up i saw thru the rear panel vents old dust with fresh fingerprints on the SMPS board capacitor cans. Gee, I wonder what the plausible explanations are for that???? Please take your business somewhere else. I doubt the service and prices could be any worse. No sour grapes. I knew better. Just a Warning!!!!!
