Cabinet Installation Quality

Cabinet installation quality is like the foundation of your home.  If your foundation is not square and level, construction problems arise and can carry throughout your entire home.  When we install cabinets, proper fitting is essential.  Our cabinetry is leveled left to right, front to back, and diagonally wherever possible.  This method produces the best system for perfectly leveling our cabinets and yields a "level foundation" for the countertops. Granite and composite countertops have become so popular that they are used in most of our kitchen remodels today.  The best quality installations of these countertops depends greatly on the "foundation" they are placed on.  In other words, the more level the cabinets are, the better the countertop installation.  When cabinets are installed "out of level" shimming of the countertop slabs is necessary for the proper countertop "fit". Shims are placed between the bottom of the countertop and the top of the cabinets in order to level the countertop slabs. Backsplash installation, good quality seams, and the overall countertop aesthetics depends highly on this "level playing field".   Shimming can be avoided with a quality cabinet installation.  After all, who wants to spend their hard earned money on a beautiful new dream kitchen just see unsightly shims.  Quality installation techniques can "make or break" your new dream kitchen.  Your new kitchen cabinets can look just like a fine piece of furniture with fine craftsmanship and good joinery techniques.
