Should i use a grass and weed killer in my raised garden before planting?
"i have gardened all my life and to be honest with you i use preen in early spring, I till in the preen, then let it sit for a week, then i till again the next week, then i use large round white plumbers pipeing cut about 8 inches thick, then i push the rings in about 2 inches plant my seedlings in side the rings, then stick in my tomoatoe cages on everything peppers, cucumbers, squash, everything i plant, then fill in with thick hay or straw with mulch ontop for weight the rest of the way up the rings. This way i only water the plants in the rings saveing water, and i have no weeds, and once a month or so i put in 10-10-10 fertilizer that slow releases threw out the month. No weeds, you save water, and you get large crops."
Are there any common household items that are illegal to be shipped?
"your local post office can answer that question far better than i can, they are very detailed on what can be mailed or not, but i can tell you no cleaners or chemicals of any kind can be moved with a military family when the military is moving the family, no cleaners, no oils, not even bleach wipes, nothing at all."
