I went to check out the new Luchento's Restaurant over the weekend and YES I made reservations, since the buzz locally has been off the charts. If anyone thinks these are the old owners, they are mistaken, this place has been transformed into something quite special, I can't even compare it to anything in the nearby area. Its a Fusion of NYC dining meeting Jersey Pizazz. As for the food, I had the this steak with a Guiness sauce, OMG...steak was done to a perfect med rare which I prefer and the reduction sauce was amazing, I wanted to bottle it up and take it with me, there was this incredible potato croquet with the meal which was fantastic as well. My girl had this grilled chicken with sausage drenched in another amazing sauce. We had a great experience, the place looks amazing and the food is fantabulous. I will definitely go again soon, its worth the wait and the reservations and the pricing was fair and reasonable. Plus bring your own liquor and its even better.
