No He/She should be flatter by the interest in the services and company. I never get offended by it. And if they give you the run around, please check them out by Google, any search engine you might use. There are a lots of site that people use to put comments about their suppliers and they maybe not in the one you are looking at.

Hi Jean; Hope this help you to decide who will be your planner. There are a few specific things that will help you know that you are hiring someone who will help you create the wedding of your dreams. 1. Meet with them in person and see how you feel when you are with them. 2. Ask for a list of brides whose weddings they have recently planned. 3. Ask for a list of vendors they have recently worked with and ask them what they like and don’t like about working with the coordinator. This will give you information about them from another professional’s point of view. 4. Women have very good intuition so listen to your instincts. They will definitely steer you well. 5. Ask a lots of questions like; How many full-scale weddings have you planned? When was your last one? How many wedding clients do you take on in a year? How many do you expect to have during the month of my wedding? Is wedding planning your full-time job? Do you offer different package options or is everything customized based on what we’re looking for? How many meetings and phone calls are included in our package? Is the wedding day rehearsal included in your services? Do any of your packages include planning the rehearsal dinner and/or post-wedding brunch? I do baskets with Goodies, either foods or things that you can used for your body, such as soaps, lotions, oils and creams. I tried to make everything homemade. Kay @ EE
I think you can invite only a few, at least for my daughter's wedding in January 2010 she invited the parents, brothers, and sisters only to the City Hall, although for the reception it was another scenario. We had a 150 guests for the reception. Hope this helps. Kay @ EE

Yes you can go to the local fire house they usually rent them cheaper, but if you don't find that, you can also do a search for local wedding rentals on Google or event on weddingwire.com and you should be able to find someone who rent them for you.
