Community Card Economical Attributes

I wanted to share with you why I feel it is important for us to look at programs like Community Card and look beyond the name and into how such a program can affect the lives of people in our community. Everyone can agree that today's economy has not yet turned that critical corner and there is no real clear picture of when we are going to be pulling ourselves out of this recession.  One thing I believe we can all agree upon is that Government is not going to resolve our economical woes by continuing to throw money at every problem. To turn the corner American's must get back to work and start spending again.  Everyone can agree that we are in a crunch and to release the grasp on our finances there needs to be more justification and satisfaction in spending our money. The Community Card program was launched with the intent and goal of bringing economic reward for merchants as well as consumers while at the same time giving back to the community through charitable contributions.  We are all consumers and we all have a common goal to receive the most for our dollars spent. Here is a closer look at how Community Card can have a positive affect on our local communiy: Economical: Merchantsoffer discounts on products and services to card holders understanding that they are lowering their margins for card holders with the intent of bringing in new customers and by building loyalty to their brand. Consumerspurchase the community card with the intent to receive discounts on products and services they currently use or feel they will use in the future knowing they will save money beyond the cost of the initial card.  For many of these consumers they will branch out to new merchants in a trial mode because they are receiving a special offer.  Both merchants and consumers receive a mutual reward for participation in the discount program. Charity:  Community charities receive unsolicited assistance from the program through the funds raised by consumer purchases of cards.  Americans are the most charitable people in the world and by purchasing a Community Card they have not only provided themselves with discounts but contribute to programs that help others.  Charities spend to provide for individuals receiving aid which in turn feeds back into the local economy. The larger the program grows the greater the rewards are for merchants, consumers, charities and our overall local economic affects.

Merchant Discount Program - What is the consumer looking for?

With many programs active today, Community Card wanted to be fresh, different and make a difference in the Community where we live and shop.  We put on our consumer hats and asked ourselves what we would want in a program. Here is our ideas;  Convienent, more than 1 time use, no big books to carry around and coupons to tear out, ability to lookup and connect to merchants to see products and services offered, big reward without big investment. Do you have other thoughts?  What else do we need to consider?  Are you willing to pay $10 for a card that will save you money in just one or 2 uses and still be good for the balance of a year?

Merchant Discount Program - What is there to loose by joining

Community Card is a charity based merchant discount program that has NO Fees for merchants to become a Sponsor Merchant.  This program is the only discount program founded on charity.  Sponsor Merchants provide a discount on products and services to Community Card (Discount or Fundraiser) consumers who present their cards with/without merchant coupons.  The program is designed to increase merchant awareness and to increase consumer patronage by offering discounts. Merchants who become sponsors are not bount by contract and may change offerings as needed.  We don't booklets with limited coupons or misrepresent your offer.  Our merchants are truly in control. What do you have to loose?  You could gain new loyal customers.
