Quick Tips for Dealing With Sweaty Palms

Visit more at: http://sweatingtreatmentguide.com Do you have sweaty palms?  If not you may wonder why anyone would be concerned about them since there are far worse health problems that a person could have.  While this might technically be true, having excessively sweaty palms can be very difficult for those who suffer from this condition.  Holding a pen or pencil can be impossible, and driving can be difficult as well.  As a matter of fact, there are many everyday activities that become virtually impossible because of being unable to grip things properly.  Think of what you do throughout your daily routine that requires you to hold something properly - shaving, brushing your hair, or even flipping a pancake all require a good grip!  Of course having sweaty palms can be embarrassing as you leave sweat marks on everything you touch and find meeting people and shaking hands to be an impossibility.  If you're someone that works in sales or for any reason needs to greet people on a constant basis, this problem can seem overwhelming!  And trying to be physically close to someone in a romantic setting can also be difficult if you're afraid to touch or be touched.  So what can be done?  How can you address the problem of having sweaty palms?  Here are a few simple tips.   First, don't hesitate to do what you need in order to correct the problem directly.  Use some wadded up tissue that you keep in your pants pocket and when you need to greet someone with a handshake, slip your hand into your pocket quickly and wipe your sweaty palms on the tissue.  The other person probably won't even realize what you're doing.  You can also keep some tissue or a small rag in your purse or jacket pocket if that helps.   Second, see your doctor.  He or she can prescribe some topical treatments that are more effective than the antiperspirant you buy at the pharmacy.  There are many creams and gels that are actually designed to help with the problem of sweaty palms, and you can add some in the morning as part of your grooming routine or carry it with you to reapply throughout the day.   And third, don't hesitate to make small changes to your environment that will accommodate you.  There's no reason you can't glue some foam or felt around your favorite pen to absorb the moisture from your sweaty palms, and do the same with your hairbrush, razor, and spatula.  Those things are yours to do with as you please and if you need to attach something to them in order to use them, there's no reason you can't or shouldn't!  Keep some small towels on the bathroom sink that you can use to dry your sweaty palms while getting ready in the morning or have an extra dishtowel by the stove.  You can even keep one on your desk for when you notice sweaty palms at the office; if this is the biggest accommodation you need during the day, there's no reason not to keep it!
