About Oneonta Taekwon-do
We teach a practical self-defense in a fun environmnent to people of all ages, shapes and sizes. Our mission is to help all of our students be the best they can be. We have classes in basic fundamentals, free-sparring, fighting techniques, and basic self-defense.. Students receive two private introductory sessions for FREE when they sign up.

Oneonta Taekwon-do...two thumbs up
My teenage son has been taking taekwon-do at the ONEONTA TAEKWON-DO now for a little over a year now. It has been an amazing experience for him! It has given him an amazing amount of self-confidence! He loves going and I never have to encourage him to do so. The ins...tructors and students are amazing also. It's like they are one big family. They are all encouraging and always positive!!! I couldn't ask for a better place for my son to go! If you are looking for a place to join...I highly recommend them! You won't be sorry.

After researching several martial arts programs in the area online and through local people, I had decided to try Oneonta Taekwon-do. I had emailed Mr. Mannion, 3rd Dan, Instructor and Owner, in regards to schedule and cost. Mr. Mannion was very helpful! Oneonta TKD was... much cheaper than the other schools in the area, no limit on number of classes to take per week, and Mr. Mannion did not pressure me into Taekwondo. He recommended that I watch a class before making a decision. I soon discovered that Oneonta Taekwond was the best martial art form for me. I have been with Oneonta TKD for about 1-1/2 years. From the start, Mr. Mannion was very helpful and took the time to teach proper technique. He and the higher belts have always been a great support and I feel as if we are one big family. I am a very proud member of Oneonta Taekwondo and highly recommend it to anyone wishing to join our family.
