Where as I would like to have given this coffee shop a 5 for the delicious food and drinks there were some things that brought the score lower. The first and only reason they have got 1 star is that they are now out of business! The food, especially the chicken salad... was very good and pricing was excellent. Truthfully I can't recall ever having a better tasting chicken salad sandwich. The deserts were great too. The ambiance overall was pretty laid back and chill. The BIG problem I had with the place was the placement of the King James Bible on the tables. Nobody should use their religion to promote their business. Personally it made me very uncomfortable to be there. I recall one night a large Bible study group there taking up most spaces. Funny thing was none of them bought anything. I love my coffee. But, Perk's general blend is some of the best. In addition to coffee, they make the BEST chocolate shake I have every had the previlidge of ingesting. All this in a safe, decent atmosphere, Perk's ROCKS!

My family love Perks. They have frozen custard like no other. It is the best we have ever tasted. We enjoy the family atmosphere. On Friday nights there is live music for everyone.
