Potts & Young Attorneys, L.L.P.

Building on a strong reputation earned through decades of service to our northwest Alabama clientele, we make each new legal matter a top priority. Potts & Young, Attorneys, L.L.P., the oldest firm in this region, was founded by the late Frank V. Potts, in 1939. Our law...yers take seriously the responsibility to deliver effective legal counsel and representation in whatever practice area brings you to our door:

A personal injury lawsuit or a Social Security Disability appeal
A criminal arrest or a pending divorce or child custody dispute
The need for a will and trusts or representation in probate
We pay as much attention to human elements as we do to the law and the courts. An attorney-client relationship needs to operate on trust. In most cases, our clients have decisions to make and actions to take. It is our goal to ensure that each person knows how to assert his or her rights and obtain results that pay off in the long run. Our law firm has achieved many notable victories in personal injury law. We were the first law firm to win a four-wheeler injury case against Suzuki. Likewise, we have represented clients in high-profile criminal matters.

Most of our clients, however, do not consider themselves high-profile or notorious. They simply need an experienced lawyer's advice, guidance and help to resolve legal issues affecting many areas of life. After a car accident, a slip-and-fall accident, a criminal arrest, onset of a disability or initiation of a divorce, our attorneys offer much-appreciated reassurance along with counsel and representation in civil or criminal courts and in courts of appeal.
