The Wave Consignment Shop

This shop has great furniture and decor items at very reasonable prices. I had the opportunity to meet the owner and her volunteer recently when I came into the shop and was very impressed with selection, quality and prices. The sofa I purchased was delivered and we are... very satisfied. I was curious and went to Gate City to see what all the gossip was about. I don't blame the owner for ridding her shop of problem vendors. It seems the theft problem has followed the vendors who seem to have problems surviving in this type of business. For someone who has been in business for 6 years, The Wave owner and volunteer has surely rode out several storms. Too bad for the ones trying to run her down. I don't blame her for getting rid of the thieves. This shop has potential to grow. Read More

Wow, what are we like 5 years old. Everyone knows that Cheri didnt write that comment and that she wasnt fired. She's the only reason that crappy store stayed in business as long as it has. God knows the owner couldnt do it herself. Pretty sad when u have to use your pa...ycheck from Eastman to keep your "business" afloat. And it's pathedic that she comes on here and makes comments about her business and signs other peoples names. knowing that its all lies. She'll have to answer for it one day. Read More

Poor Cheri Starnes letter below. She is just mad because the owner finally got fed up with her stealing problem and fired her. Cheri was horrible to customers, talked badly about the owner of the Willow Tree ( her supposed buddy Dani) and can't even get along with her h...usband. Now when I go in the Wave to shop, I don't have to listen to Cheri's drama. She took it to the Willow Tree who she talked badly about also. The public will find out The Wave is a GREAT shop and has lots of new furnishings. Cheri is just crying sour grapes. DO NOT LET HER BRING HER OVER PRICED YARDSALE JUNK INTO YOUR SHOP. ENB Read More
