The wave consignment store is a terrible business. I suggest you avoid it unless you want to get screwed.

the woman in the post below is a liar. She did not have a layaway with the Wave Consignment shop. She asked the clerk to "HOLD" the item until Friday of that same week and the lady did not return until 2 weeks later requesting to pick up a layaway that did not exist.. T...He lady was given her "hold" money back even though she lied about coming back by the agreed upon 3 days. She needs to learn to read stated policies before leavin bad reviews and bad mouthing honest businesses. . It is called slander in the legal word. THe shop has excellent customer service and numerous satisfied customes to refute her lie. Read More

This place should be avoided. I placed an item in layaway and the policy says you have 30 days to pick up. I gave the clerk 20 dollars down and went back a week and half later to find out the girl sold the item. I explained how when your policy says 30 days. I ask ...for my refund and she stated that they don't do refunds that I would have to talk to manager. I asked her to call the manager and she says oh she works at the eastman. We can't call her there. Well almost all my family works there and I talked to them on regular basis. This business is a joke and the customer service is the worst I have ever come into contact with. I truly cannot believe this shop. Wonderful, exceptional and very well thought out. I was in the shop today and it looks wonderful. The trash booth in the back is finally gone. The walls are repainted (the other colors were hideous) a charming light tan. This area is fu...ll of nice dining room furniture with lots of framed art tastefully hung on the surrounding walls. I was very impressed with the new look. Lots of nice furniture, home decor, clothing was very inexpensive for the name brands and the clerk informed me they buy their stock. Why would someone trash this store? Just because you are Jealous of this lady. This lady sells tons of "retro", used, new, antiques, horse tack, camoflauge, tart chunkies (the new ones are much much better than what the weird woman brought) You need to go back and look... again because last week she had several newer pieces and a new bed room set up. I know because I bought a dinette set. SHe has the best prices of all those shops in Kpt and Mt Carmel. You should do price comp before you start making comments to hurt her business. She gives stuff to people who needs it, even though she don want nobody to know it is her.,. If you want something FREE, go beg at the Salvation Army Store and they ask higher than her prices..
