Discovering our limits
We recently had a call for a pick up that lead to so much more than we usually handle. It started out as 3 computers, when we arrived and learned that the house was being cleaned out completely. the person in charge lived out of state, and we ended up taking many things just to keep them out of the landfill. We got 2 tents, 3 sleeping bags, a camp stove, assorted pots, pans and dishes for camping, that we donated to the scouts, 4 pitch forks, we found new homes for, assorted woodworking tools, ( I added those to my collection) 2 wheelbarrows, 2 steamer trunks( these are still available if anyone is interested), the list goes on and on. i discovered that what we have the capabilities, and contacts to handle far exceeds what I previously imagined. It prompted me to begin a partial list list of acceptable items to hopefully get people thinking of just what can be recycled, and eventually lead to an end to landfills.
