Is your website protected?

In the bruising Great Recession the world has been going through, thousands of web technology companies large and small are disappearing - going bankrupt, being bought up by larger companies. Many individuals, groups and small business, however, have their websites designed by an individual. If that person dies or becomes incapacitated, you may have no access to your website to make future changes. Of course, an earthquake or major natural or manmade disaster could send hundreds of the world's top web hosts into oblivion, wiping out millions of websites altogether. When you pay a web designer to build a website, you are buying a service, not a product. Because the designer legally owns the copyright, it could cost you 5-10 times what you paid for the design service to actually get your hands on a copy of your own website. Now,Phoenix Technologies offers you peace of mindwith a mirror image of your website on CD or DVD, if necessary, thatyou yourself can make a copy of to place in a safe deposit box or other safe place. You can put in your computer and view it just as you would off the Internet. In the event of the web designer's confirmed death, all copyright will pass to you.* So long as you are listed as the owner/registrant of your domain name, you can then put your website on any web server you wish, so long as you know how to change the DNS numbers associated with your domain name. If you need help in setting up a GoDaddy account, or aren't sure who the registrant of your domain is, just call me at 931-583-2509 and I'll help you get started. You will need your personal information, a User ID, password and credit card information. A domain transfer to your name costs $7.49 (GoDaddy's fee). Our fee for compiling and burning a professional-quality CD/DVD of your website is very reasonable. The CD is shipped 7-10 days after payment has cleared. 75For single CD/DVD copy of your websiteThis offer is madeonly to current clients of Phoenix Technologiesandexpires December 31, 2010when the price will go up to $100. 25For single annual CD/DVD upgrade of your website every DecemberThis offer is madeonly to current clients of Phoenix Technologiesandexpires December 31, 2010when the price will go up to $50.

What we do and how we do it!

Hello, my name is Jim Moore. I've been designing websites since the Internet existed and now have about 65 clients from a wide variety of industries from Tennessee to Hawaii. One of the most important jobs is to get search engine results - something few web designers do. Even if you already have a website, you can most likely benefit from my SEO (Search Engine Optimization) services. I can provide actual before and after numbers on several clients (with their permission of course) to show you I DO get results. My background includes graphic arts, design, journalism, television production, computer tutoring, repair and sales - so I bring to the table a wealth of experience designed just for today's interactive Internet experience. Most of my clients' sites have audio, video, a library and other features to attract and keep visitors. Does yours? I also work with musicians, songwriters and independent record producers to create and master CDs, design CD covers and promote music online.
