Since 1997 we have been converting existing bathtubs in homes, assisted living communities, etc, into easy accessible showers by cutting away part of the dam on the tub (the part you step over) approximately 30” inches wide, with a step over of 4”-7” inches varying differences by brands of the bathtubs. It is then supported, filled in and color matched with a non-skid finish and, can be used in 24 hours. Approximate cost for fiberglass is $700.00, porcelain over steel is $900.00. We accept checks and cash.    In our picture gallery, you will see a tub before a conversion, and  2 tubs after conversions    one without a chair, and one with a safety chair.  If getting in and out of the bathtub is not a problem, but the cleanliness and appearance are the problem, we at Like New Tub can help you with that as well. Unlike a tub liner, that can become a bacterial oasis , trapping water between it and the original tub, causing more damage over time than you started with, refinishing is similar to auto restoration. We will do exactly as our name implies, make your tub look Like New, for approximately the ¼ of the cost of replacing, and cutting the time table to approximately 1 day, with the rare exception. We have references, and a small showroom at our office for you to view. We giveFREEestimates. We provide a care, maintenance, and warranty.We travel to surrounding counties and beyond when needed.
