Home Video Phone Benefits Have you heard about the new home video phone yet? With a video telephone, you are able to see the person you are talking to when you call someone who has one of these cool phones. You don't have to tell them how you are you can show them. We bought a video home phone and also bought my Mother one. Now when we talk, it's not just a phone conversation. We can actually visit with her and we can see my mom light up with excitement on our seven inch screen. We can see how mom is doing and how she looks which is priceless. Our kids can't wait to see her and jump up and down and run around the house just like they do when she comes for a visit. They are full of stories of what they are doing in school. Both love showing her they're latest school projects and even how they did with their homework. One of our neighbors bought a home video phone and sent one to their son who is in Iraq. Now they can see him when they call and just that benefit alone will change their lives forever. So you might be wondering if you need anything special to use this video telephone. Not really, just a high speed, wired Internet connection such as Cable or DSL and usually a phone adapter. Nothing high priced, in fact you'll be surprised at how reasonable it is. The videophone is designed for simplicity, and since most homes already have the required high speed broadband access and a router it's a simple plug it in and use it type of set-up. Once your video phone is hooked up to your internet provider it automatically locates its server and automatically configures itself with a green LED showing the connection is complete. You are now ready to make calls just like a regular telephone only you'll be able to see someone who is using their video internet phone. The interest in the video home phone has been phenomenal to say the least. There are so many benefits we could be here a very long time listing them all. Everyone has a situation where they are apart from a loved one and seeing them instead of just talking to them will change the way you communicate with them forever. A word of warning though, once you see this home video phone you will probably fall in love with it. But once you own one you'll wonder how you ever lived without it.
