Overworked and Stressed Out?

As the economy continues to struggle and hopefully begin its recovery, there are many business owners our there like myself who are working hard to get business and keep their company afloat. While I encourage everyone to do all they can to keep their companies alive and thriving, I would also encourage you to take time off to recharge your batteries. Burnout is a terrible thing when it hits. It is far better to be proactive in preventing it than trying to work through it after it hits. Maybe this would be a good time to see if some positive encouragement and education in effective time management and prioritization might not be even better than just bearing down and working even harder. The expression I have heard repeatedly over the years is "work smarter, not harder". Now might be a really good time for you to take that message to heart.
