Cat Health FAQs
The health of your cat should be a priority for any cat owner. There are many different diseases and conditions that are prevalent in cats and because cats cannot talk, it is often up to the owner to determine if there is something amiss. Generally, most cat owners have some common questions about their cat, and knowing the answers to them could help you determine if something is wrong.
Q: How do you tell if a female cat is in heat?

A: This is a common compliant, especially in certain areas of the United States. Unfortunately if you have a cat with fleas and that cat is allowed indoors, you most likely have fleas in the house and along with the cat, the home will need to be treated. Your veterinary can recommend a flea preventative that will get rid of these parasites, and your pest control company can advise you on treating the home.
