How to Arrange Clubs in Golf Bags
Most people do not arrange their golf clubs until they cannot find something in the middle of their golf game. It may seem unimportant but there is nothing like having stress out on the course when you originally went to relax. There is a method that can get those clubs organized so you can enjoy a stress free game.
Materials Needed
- Golf bag
- Golf clubs
- Remove all of the golf clubs from the bag. Spread all of the items out on a floor, ground, or driveway so you can see everything much better.
- Divide the clubs into two separate piles. You want one pile for the irons and one for the wood items. The irons have metal heads while the wood clubs are large with oval heads.
- Work on the pile with the irons first. Sort this pile by length. Now move to the second pile and arrange those by length as well. Look at all of the clubs and notice a number on them. Short clubs will have a high number while the long clubs will have a low number. Some clubs will not have a number at all.
- Look inside the golf bag. It should be divided into many sections on the inside of the bag. Most bags have six sections, especially in the large ones. Stand the bag in the upright position and turn the strap towards your body.
- Start placing the woods in the bag but make sure you start at the side opposite from you. Put in the long items and then the short items. Make sure you move from your left and to your right.
- Begin placing the irons in the bag. Start with the long clubs first and move from left to right. You want to move across the bag while placing the items into place.
