How to Build an Archery Target
If you enjoy participating in the sport of archery, you are aware of how expensive the equipment for the sport can be. There are some ways that you can cut down on the expense such as taking the time to build a homemade archery target, which is easy to do.
How to Build an Archery Target
Gather some old rugs, foam padding and cardboard cartons.
Cut out a template to use to make your target.
Use the template to cut the rug, foam and cardboard.
Layer the material on top of each other in a pile from 6" to 10" tall.
Put some heavy-duty glue between each layer.
Use an ice pick to drive holes around the edges of the material.
Thread a string through the holes to pull the edges tightly together.
Draw a paper target and pin it to the center of the target.
