  1. Use a stain remover to treat any stains on the gown. Allow the stain remover to remain on the stain for at least an hour or the length of time recommended on the instructions of the remover.

  2. Turn the dress inside out before washing. This will prevent any snagging from occurring on the material during the washing process.

  3. Fill the washer with warm water and set it on the gentle cycle.

  4. Pour in a capful of gentle washing detergent and put the dress in the machine.

  5. Remove the dress when the washing cycle is complete.

  6. Place the gown in the dryer and set it on low heat and tumble dry. Set the timer for 10 minutes. If it is still wet after the time has elapsed give it a couple of more minutes. Make sure you check it regularly. You do not want to leave it in the dryer too long.

  7. Remove the gown from the dryer and hang it up.
