How to Heal Rosacea Skin Conditions

How to Diagnose Skin Conditions

Human beings have been besieged by a number of similar and very different skin conditions. These conditions can cause redness of the skin, itching, and irritation in both children and adults. It is important to be able to diagnose the condition to determine the proper treatment.

Different skin conditions and their symptoms:

  • Shingles or Herpes Zoster. These conditions are marked by either blisters or small red bumps appearing virtually anywhere on the body. The most common location for these is on the side.

  • Hives. These are small welts that cause constant itching. They typically appear on the body as a result of an allergic reaction to either food or something that otherwise touched the body. They tend to appear in small spots, but can spread quickly all over the body.

  • Psoriasis. This condition is marked by crimson-colored patches on the skin, accompanied by white or silver-colored scales. It is commonly found on the knees or elbows (just under the elbows), as well as scalp or back.

  • Eczema. This appears on the skin as a red, dry inflammation in spots. Weather and allergies can bring this condition on, as can stressful situations.

  • Rosacea. This is a condition marked by red spots on the face that make the person appear flushed. It is commonly found on cheeks, but can also appear on the nose, forehead, or chin.

  • Pityriasis Rosea. This condition also appears as red spots, but these spots have rough edges and slightly raised. This condition can last as long as two months if not treated.
