How to Get Books for a Library
Library books are so expensive these days, especially when there is no funds allocated in the budget for them. With a little creativity and knowing which strings to pull and the right connections, you can collect more then enough books to be added to the library.
How to get books for a library:
Find out what topics the library will need and make a list.
Let your community know that the library is in need of books and will they be willing to donate to the library.
Build a relationship with publishing companies and ask them will they be willing to donate books to the library.
Organize a book drive in the community.
Contact bookstores in the community for book donations.
Make sure you send out thank you notices to all who have donated books.
