How to Rent Items From a Library
Finding the right book, video, audio tape or other reading material is very important. Sometimes items that cannot be purchased or are to costly can be found at your local library. There are some important steps you must take to rent items from a library.
Get a state issued identification card. Most libraries require those renting from their location to state identification. Most libraries only rent items to those living in the same county as the library.
Fill out an application for a library card. The process is quite easy and does not require a lot of time. Usually, a librarian will help answer any questions you may have about the application process.
Sign your library card. Your library card is given to you on the same day. You will then sign your card.
Select your materials to be checked out. There are many items you may find of interest at the library. If the items are not reference materials they may be checked out.
