How to Hide a Satellite Antenna Cable
Satellite antenna cables can look very ugly if they are not hidden. Whether they are on the outside or inside of your home, if they are noticeably sticking out you may want to hide them. There are several ways you can do this.
- Use your home to hide satellite antenna cables outside. You can hide your satellite antenna cables by running the cables along with the structure of your home. For example, you can run the cable across the bottom of your home until you get to where it needs to be run up to the antenna. Once you get to this point, run the cable at a 90 degree angle if possible along the corner of your home. Running satellite antenna cables in this manner will make it look more like a part of your home instead of a lose cable.
- Opt for a color that blends in with your home. Many times you can find satellite antenna cables in a few different colors, such as black, brown and white. Choosing the color that blends with your home the best will help. Some cables can even be painted over if necessary.
- Run the satellite antenna cables that are lose along the bottoms and corners of the inside of your home as well. This will make the satellite antenna cables much less noticeable.
- Use your furniture to hide satellite cables that run on the inside of your home. By running satellite antenna cables behind your furniture you may be able to hide most of the cable. Visitors will more than likely not even notice a well hidden cable.
